The destruction of my family is continuing.
I'm frankly surprised they lasted this long. A little more prodding after Christmas should convince mom to sell the house ASAP. Uncle paul needs assisted living. He knows this. He's as much as admitted it (when he admitted that he can't make it up and down the steps anymore). Bobby may have gotten his job back, but he'll screw that up. He's already been in jail once this month (confronting your ex after a night of heavy drinking is never--EVER--a good idea). Paulie's leukemia is back, and it doesn't look promising. It's kind of sad. He could've been somebody. Tommy is being held on "several" oustanding warrants.

Wanna escape to Australia and spend Christmas with us? We're being anti-social this year and not really visiting family. Well, maybe except for Hugh's grandmother, she finally admitted at the age of 86 and multiple hospital stays this past year that living on her own wasn't a good idea.
And my dad found out recently from Washington State Dept of Mental Health that he couldn't get my brother committed unless he displayed violent tendencies. *sighs*
