Fantasy fulfillment

There is a very good chance that I may have one of my innermost fantasies fulfilled by some connections through the university. That dream is conducting a four minute piece of fast baroque music with a luger pistol in lieu of a baton at a public performance.

More details later.

At the end of the symphony, do you shoot the tympani player?

Raspail played the flute, not the violin. I can't remember from the scene in Red Dragon if Raspail was shown as 1st or 2nd Flute. :flowers:

The idea is with some precedent - in the original Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show - the pit orchestra leader conducted with an ivory handled six shooter.

I have a slightly more philosophical reason for using it... to be revealed later.
