"So much to do, so little time."

So much has gone on that I've hardly had any time recently to have any social life what-so-ever. The few times that I have gone out because they were almost mandatory social events I felt like I was burning the candle from both ends.

13 hour flight turned into a 15 hour one. Left LA with 55 degrees landed into 90+ degree heat. Ate Lomitos, Completos, Empanadas, Sopaipillas, Calzones Rotos and drank Garzas. Went to see the Santa Virgen de los Andes. Drank Mote con Huesillo. Took a last minute bus to Valparaiso to meet a cousin who was in town till sunday and normally lives...

On Saturday I got paid to have lunch with several City of Los Angeles dignitaries which included Mayor Antonio Villaraigossa, City Council Members Eric Garcetti, Tom LaBonge, several Recreation and Parks Supervisors including Laura Island (my bosses boss), Phil Orland (her boss) and Bara King (his boss), Mayor of Inglewood Roosevelt Dorn...

I've been in such a fund lately that I've drink more than I ever have in my life! Now I've blown all my money on alcohol. I wanted to drink myself to death like Nicholas Cage in the movie, "Leaving Las Vegas" where he drinks himself to death and not like the movie where he uses his wife as collateral in a gambling debt....
