Had same problem, yeah. On the plus side if you type in and it doesn't work the "Use Full Editor" link will preserve your edits.

Good to know.

I had thought it might have been some sort of greasemonkey/userscript messing with the js of the quick reply box.
Must be something on the backend.

Anyone care to email Pab about it? Because I doubt he'll ever find out otherwise.

Not sure what's going on with that. All forum files are the very latest versions and it's not the skin edits because the same happens in the default skin.

Will look into it further.

Edit: Works in Google Chrome, must be FF3 issue. Can't find other reports of problem though, which is weird.

Edit2: Still haven't found the solution to the quick edit problem, but in searching did find a solution to the "squashed smilies and quick access box" on the posting screen one. Fixed!

I'm not sure I've ever been able to use it. I tried it a couple times and it didn't really do anything so.....

PS: Just tried it and it failed. Using a Mac OS X ver 10.5.5

That's interesting. I've just now installed Firefox 3.0.5 and it's still not working for me. Admittedly I haven't installed SP3 but that really shouldn't make any difference whatsoever.

Can you please double-check that Quick Edit is working for you?

:flowers:

Because it doesn't work for anyone else with that same setup :P

/edit - Just tested Quick Edit with the same setup (FF 3.0.5, Windows XP SP3), and it loads fine, but when you click "Complete Edit", it just says "Loading" and stays there.

Works fine in IE 7 though. All the fonrs are blurry though o_O
