Haha, that's kind of sad. I realize it's a beta, but it's still ironic that Firefox has greater support for Google (i.e. toolbar functions) than Google's own browser. You'd expect getting their own shit to work would be priority number one, then they can worry about the rest of the Internet.

Issue: Quick Edit not working in Firefox 3.
Status: Recognised bug. Unresolved.
Sandman and Jeremiah have reported that Quick Edit works fine for them in Google Chrome and IE7 respectively. I've tested this in Firefox 3, Chrome and IE7 all on the same machine and I confirm that it seems to work fine in both Chrome and IE7 (but not in Firefox 3, obviously).
This is the current status of this issue. If you have anything to add, please do so, otherwise I ask that you please post unrelated discussion posts in the relevant areas of the forums (i.e. not here). Thanks. :)

A few things really. The fact that I wiped the entire forums folder and uploaded it as-new from the current release of IPB means it's not caused by a problem there. Switching to the default skin didn't make any difference either so it's not that. And as you have said yourself, nobody else seems to have reported a problem like this over at the official IPB forums. Though I did find one post describing a problem with quick edit that was caused by mod_security (something server-side), which further raised my suspicions.
