Usually public officials are a lot nastier about this kind of pranksterism (remember the mooninites? those weren't even on signs), so I'm glad this guy got a little kick out of it.

those boards are pointless. One today said "Ice and snow/Take it Slow!" and it made me want to punch a toddler with a mullet.

I usually see them when I'm sitting in a huge line of traffic and it says "Delays Likely".

Nice prank, though. It'd be better if the board read "Your life is pointless. Why are you even putting up with this? Turn around and go home"
