While I was updating my profile (putting a new picture up, etc) I saw something on my profile page called 'Reputation' and it was apparently set to neutral. Could someone enlighten me as to what that exactly is?

It's probably got something to do with the http://pabook.net/forums/public/style_images/master/add.png and http://pabook.net/forums/public/style_images/master/delete.png buttons to the bottom-right of each post. If people vote your posts "up" then you reputation probably goes up, etc etc.

I'm assuming those buttons are visible to Members, Members+ and Members++; Sharon's not logged in at the moment so I can't check. Those buttons currently do nothing -- I know, I already tried to "up" myself :blush: -- so if you can't see them, don't worry, you're not missing anything. :whee:

It may also have something to do with the Rating a User section of the Viewing members profile information help topic:

Quote

Rating a User
The profile supports a user rating system. This will let other users rate down users that cause problems, or value the rating of good users. To edit the rating, bring up the member's profile, then click on the stars to choose the rating.

Frankly I don't know any more than you. What Hugh said sounds about right. It's one of those things I'm going to have to look into and configure (or disable) once I've sorted out the more pressing matters.

Easy. All you need to do is make a small donation to Pabs Beer Monies Inc and all your dreams, including this one, will come true*.

Mine's going to be changed to "An Awesomer Forumer with Rhymin' for all a ya".**

* May not actually happen

** Definitely won't happen
