It's time for our annual brag/whinge thread!
Me:
1) mod-ish tea cup, jokey tea towel (not even funny), and $50 from mum-in-law
2) a Jackie Collins trashy novel from sister-in-law
3) a purse that's not really my style from my parents
4) a pine-cone decorated to look like a Xmas tree from Shy, only problem is that it's infested with baby spiders. I still love it though.
5) a standing electric mixer and Wii Fit from Hugh

Ryan and I bought a Wii and Wii Fit for ourselves. He also got us tix to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the 2nd. Woot! We're doing Christmas with some friends tomorrow, I'll update after that!

Got gift cards to the local metaphysical shop, Best Buy gift cards, and a Magic Bullet for when we (eventually, someday, hopefully) put in a wet bar downstairs. Family Xmas is next weekend!

we had our anual christmas dinner with my dad and he surprised us with some money.
Got ourselves a home entertainment set , always wanted one but since bills for other things are more important , never managed to get the money for it.

As expected, I got a lot of clothes / stuff to ensure that a bachelor living on his own for the first time doesn't die.. I got a mega-swank new shaving kit with shaving soap that smells like rum, which I'm pretty stoked about :P

I haven't gotten anything yet because my parents haven't gone Christmas shopping yet. I'll post what I got whenever they manage to get around to it. :rolleyes:
