Tomorrow is the big day! Obviously, I am rooting for USA, but also for Spain. As a Liverpool fan I was a big fan of the Spanish players (until they all got sold, sans Torres :( )

USA vs. England, can't wait!

Obviously rooting for USA and saw the game with my mom. When Crouch came into the game she said "Whats that giraffe doing on the field?"

A tie feels so Un-American

A professional sporting thing allows tie games? That seems very...unprofessional.

New World Cup rule for American players only: You get one point for every two goals you score.

But still we advance!

So what if a tie occurs in the championship match? Both teams win (or lose)?

Ties are only allowed in the Group Stage. From here on out it is two 15 minutes periods of extra time. No golden goal. Still tied after 120 minutes of play then brings the game to penalty kicks.

Last World Cup Final was decided this way.
