I have the taskbar on the left in autohide mode. Gives the whole desktop a "free-floating" fell to it that's kinda different.

I'm not gonna mess with the Gallery anymore for desktop pics. I can't figure out why I always get the wrong links even though they work for others. :S

It's like zootm said, the correct link to give out and use is the one under the picture where it says URL.

Sorry 'bout that, I should have known - I did it the right way for another thread, but somehow forgot this time. =)

I love my desktop.

OK, that XP logo is starting to annoy me, its on top of that beautiful image :(
If anyone thinks they can remove it then PM me, and i will send them the jpg image

Why remove the logo when you can create a completely new render without it?

Click the pic for the gallery page. It's not identical but it shows how easy it is to make in Terragen in just 5 minutes.

Just press your "Prt Sc" key, then in any image software use Edit > Paste and then save it as a JPEG.

I will therefore put up with it, up to the point where you want it to sleep in our bed with us.

It bore some semblance of sense in my head, I swear to Dog.

Windows again... for some games I wanted to try out. Linux will probably go back on sometime after gcc 3.4 gets setteled down -- precompiled header support, turns 30 hour kde compiles into 4 hours.

Nothing to do with being "pwned" by zootm?

Link to that background / others like it? That's very nice.

New wallpaper and a snazzy Samurize config I made myself. The Weather pic updates based on actual conditions and the analog clock keeps time properly (the clock was a bitch to configure).

I'll probably tweak it and add some more weather info (conditions, tomorrow's forecast, etc.) when I have the time. Now that I know what I'm doing with Samurize it's a breeze.

:)

My Desktop

I know I'm boring, but I'm old and set in my ways. And I'm in a Warren Zevon state of mind.
